Where We Drop You Off and Pick You Up

Drop-off and pickup at Red Rocks are not in the same place, and the best spot is one your own car and rideshare cannot use.

We drop you at the Top Circle Lot. As a licensed livery service, we use the Top Circle Lot, about 200 feet from the entrance and a two to three minute walk to your seats. No lower-lot climb, no half-mile uphill hike. Personal vehicles and rideshare are not allowed in this lot.

Rideshare makes you walk. Rideshare pickup is down at the Jurassic Lot off Highway 93, a ten to fifteen minute uphill walk from the venue, then a wait while surge pricing climbs.

Your driver is already staged. When the encore ends, your chauffeur is waiting at the Top Circle Lot. You walk out, get in, and you are on the highway while the main lots are still gridlocked.

Groups confirm in advance. For our Sprinter van, your driver confirms the exact staging point at booking, since the venue asks large vehicles to reserve ahead. On busy nights, traffic control may route livery vehicles to the Upper North Lot.

Why Driving Yourself to Red Rocks Is Harder Than It Looks

Red Rocks Amphitheatre sits at 6,450 feet in Red Rocks Park near Morrison, roughly 15 to 20 miles west of downtown Denver. Parking is free, but free comes with conditions that catch first-time visitors out.

• The upper lots fill early. Upper North and Upper South are closest to the entrance and typically fill around 90 minutes before showtime for a popular show.
• Overflow means an uphill walk. Once the upper lots are full you are directed to the lower lots or roadside parking. That walk is uphill and can run close to half a mile, or fifteen to thirty minutes on foot.
• Leaving takes longer than arriving. Clearing the lots after a sold-out show commonly takes thirty to forty-five minutes before you even reach the highway.
• It gets cold after dark. At 6,450 feet the venue runs ten to fifteen degrees cooler than Denver once the sun goes down, even in July.
• Rideshare surges after the encore. Nine thousand people request a ride within the same fifteen minutes, and pickup is a long walk downhill at the Jurassic Lot.

A private car removes all five problems at once. You are dropped 200 feet from the entrance, your driver is already waiting when the show ends, and the fare was agreed before you left the house.
